* MechaMooks: Evil Coop's army is composed of white drones that are an Expy of Zakus and they wield red blaster rifles in combat.

* CyberneticsEatYourSoul: After becoming Coop's Dragon, she was outfitted with cybernetic implants that apparently keep her hooked up to her mecha since she is never once seen outside of it throughout the episode.

* BigEater: In reference to Coop's performance during an eating contest, Jamie says that Coop doesn't get sick, he just gets less hungry. During said eating contest, he ate 179 wieners and drank an entire jar of butter. He even stated he was ''still'' hungry and wanted Rocky Road ice cream afterward.

* {{Cyborg}}: To an extent, she sports implants like [[WetwareCPU her cranial plug-port behind her head and hologram projector on her wrist]] but they are subtle in appearance. [[spoiler:Her ALT version, however, become a full-blown version of it with her left-side of her face having mechanical features along with plugging herself with a larger cable behind her skull whenever she's piloting a mech.]]

* GeniusDitz: Strange as it seems, Coop is a mechanical genius. Keep in mind, with no formal training, he was able to repair a broken alien mecha from the future alone while still upgrading it as time goes by in spite of being who he is. Of course his upgrades don't always work the way he intended them to and sometimes its implied even he isn't entirely sure what some of his modifications are supposed to do.

* WalkingSpoiler: His entire existance is this due to being the twist at the end of "Rearview Mirror, Mirror Part 1".

The leader of the resistance force in an alternate dimension. He is the hero of that Earth who fights against the evil forces of Coop and his army of robots. He apparently had a relationship with Kiva, but she left with Coop and became evil. Alternate Jamie is a love scorn, battle-hardened man with a knee brace. This version of Jamie is actually the polar opposite of the original Jamie, being very brave and fit.

* AcePilot: Has become this over the course of the war.
* TheApocalypseBringsOutTheBestInPeople: Who would have thought Coop and Kiva pulling a FaceHeelTurn and going on a rampage across the universe would be what it took for Jamie to shed his cowardice and weakness?
* CynicismCatalyst: Seeing his best friend become a sociopathic galactic conqueror and his girlfriend follow him and become a monster herself have understandably hardened this version of Jamie.
* DarkIsNotEvil: He wears a black jacket and hat, and pilots a black Glorft mecha. At first, Coop and, by proxy the audience, assume he is a villain, but he turns out to be a hero.
* DeadpanSnarker: He ''did'' respond to Coop's question on how he was in such a matter.
* FutureBadass: Well, he's sorta one for Jamie, being an older battle-scarred leader of the resistance.
* GoodScarsEvilScars: Subverted. He has an "evil scar" as we are led to believe he's the bad guy at first until it turns out he's actually the hero.
* HeartbrokenBadass: At some point in the alternate dimension, Kiva and Jamie began dating. Then Coop went down the dark path and Kiva followed him. Heartbroken romantically and platonically.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Downplayed, but while he had his suspicions regarding our Coop, it did lead to his forces wiped when he had them engage against him and left them open against the real danger.
* LawOfChromaticSuperiority: He pilots a black Glorft mech in contrast to the other rebels who pilot the standard green ones. He is also the leader and lasts longer against Evil Coop's army than they do.
* PreMortemOneLiner: "Let's see you conquer worlds when you're stuck between dimensions!"[[note]]Downplayed, since the targets don't actually die.[[/note]]
* SwappedRoles: In the main timeline, Jamie (to a certain extent) enables Coop's less noble traits, while Kiva is the one most concerned about heroics. By contrast, Evil Kiva helps Evil Coop in his rampages while Alternate Jamie tries to stop both of them.
* TookALevelInBadass: Leader of the resistance force against [[spoiler:Alternate Coop]]. He is far from the useless coward his other self is.

An evil counterpart of Coop from an alternate dimension who became a ruthless warlord who laid wasted to his home dimension through his obsession with destroying everything in his path and would like to do it all over again, and he pilots a more powerful warlike mech after abandoning his own Megas.

* StoutStrength: Despite being a rather heavyset man, Coop has shown instances of being [[StoutStrength pretty strong for someone]]. [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome That said]], he still spent most of his life eating and playing video games in his mother's basement. As a result, he has terrible stamina due to a lack of physical exercise, as seen in "The Fat And The Furious" where he quickly tires himself out while operating Megas via manual mode.

* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Delivers these to the VillainOfTheWeek in almost every episode.

* AchievementsInIgnorance: Coop is an amazing mechanic but sometimes even he has no idea what his killer weapons do. There's also the fact that he managed to get the robot working at all despite replacing the control hub with a car.

Between catching a tan on a scrap hill or relaxing in his favourite lawn chair, Goat is the owner and operator of the junkyard in which Coop found MEGAS. Like Jamie, he tries to hit on girls (usually Kiva) and falls just a bit short. He is the same character from MTV's ''WesternAnimation/{{Downtown}}'', sharing the same voice actor and some of the staff of this series.

* TheCameo: They make a brief appearance in the ending credits of "Junk in the Trunk"

A redneck-type alien who owned a junk planet. He allowed Coop and his friends to look for a photonic stabilizer only so he could take MEGAS and steal the time drive. He pilots a monstrous robot known as the Franken

* BreakoutCharacter: Is the character devoted fans and casual observers, alike, first think of when discussing the show. The fact that she, not Coop, nor Jamie, was the ''Megas XLR'' character to cameo in [[Recap/OKKOLetsBeHeroesS2E18CrossoverNexus Crossover Nexus]] says a lot about how iconic she is.

* TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou: When facing off against the Evil Kiva from the BadFuture, she criticizes Gorrath for teaming up with Coop to defeat her and Evil Coop.
