It's also not really serving the normal function of a Recap page, which is to host sub-works of a serialized work like a TV series. I agree with just cutting it.

While not supported, what is a normal function is still talked about.

But leaning on cutting in this case.

I'd say that plagiarism is plagiarism, even if the work you plagiarised has been rewritten later. The Wikipedia article was published with a certain wording and that wording was plagiarised. What happened to the Wikipedia article later is immaterial.

Plagiarising an older version of something is still plagiarism.
