Bug zapper Western Animation
From an animated program, not sure if Western or Anime: A bunch of characters are trekking through the dense jungle. They are annoyed by swarms of bugs, but press on. One of the characters, who had magic powers or energy powers or something of the like, snaps their fingers or does a similar gesture, and all the bugs around them briefly flash as they are hit with energy, before falling to the ground, dead.
Christian music TV show with a group of animated monster characters Western Animation
I remember years back I was flipping through channels and I stumbled across a Christian TV network playing this strange cartoon that starred these monster or ogre-like characters. I remember that, when I tuned in, a segment was ending, and the final joke of that segment was that one of them brought a bag of marshmallows, except it had some funny pun-based name (IIRC it might have been "smarshmallows"). In between the segments was live-action CCM music videos.
Does anybody might know what I am talking about?
series about three children who go to an arcade Western Animation
I just remember that it is an animated series about 3 children who go to class. In one episode they go to some arcades and since the boy is the best of all, his classmates keep asking him for advice. This distracts him from getting a game registration and that's why he decides to make a website with tutorials and tips. They promote it but the friend at first gets the name wrong and they keep interrupting him.
I only remember this episode. Arcade games were related to green slime. The serie was between 2000-2010. If you can help me with the name of this series I would greatly appreciate it.
Edited by asqwert17Old CGI Cartoon About Robots that turn into diving gear. Western Animation
This is driving me crazy and i am starting to think i imagined this one. But it's an old CGI Cartoon where a bunch of kids explore the ocean by having pet robots turn into diving gear, which also gives them super weapons to fight against some evil guy with a punk hair cut.
It's also a big adventure with continuity and quasi-constant progression, The characters were: a cocky boy who could shoot cyclones from his chest, a reasonable that had some stun powers, her little brother who has submarine that he later turns into a robot, and a wannabe reporter girl that's never part of the action.
I remember watching it in french on teletoon, i can't pin point the year since i was really young.
Pretty sure it had at least two seasons, with the second one introducing an incompétent pirate.
Episode about Giant Bees Western Animation
Animated in the similar way as Ben 10 or TMNT, early 2000s. A group of investigators, might've been teens, try to solve the disappearances of people in a high school. Giant bees are abducting people and putting them in honey cocoons in the ceiling over the gymnasium. It's the only episode of this show I've seen.
Pro-capitalist sci-fi animated short film Western Animation
There was this cartoon short film that came out either in the 50s or 60s, and it was about how 'great' capitalism is. It had a very Raygun Gothic / Zeerust aesthetic, and I think it featured aliens (perhaps martians) as well. It was even probably sponsored by a gas company. I don't know if it's in the public domain. What is it?
CGI Holiday Special Western Animation
I swear I vaguely remember a cgi Holiday special that I just can't seem to find. The details I remember are that it was about a little girl whose dog went missing and I think it makes her lose her Christmas spirit, and this fairy-creature-I-can't-remember tries to help her get it back (like A Christmas Carol but not really) while I'm pretty sure it also turns out the dog was abducted. That's all I remember, though.
Edited by RedBerryBlueCherryBike travel show Western Animation
It's About 2 anthro boys who travel the world on their bikes where meet a kid from the country thier visiting. I remember there was an episode about Australia and an episode about Brazil that focused on football and had this cool tv Goldberg thing to fix the antenna.
Animated creepy short: balloons and sharp people Western Animation
So this was an animated short I’m mostly sure I saw on Cartoon Network but it could’ve been Disney or Nick, about a decade ago. It kinda had a Tim burton nightmare before Christmas vibe to the animation, but it was 2D (and I think Flash, not hand drawn). This kid had a bunch of balloons that he realiy loved, but then these sharp, angular, pitch black featureless humanoids came up to him (I think in a group?) and started to pop them by touching their sharp fingers to the balloons. With every pop, a part of the boy’s body became sharp, pitch black, and angular like theirs; first his finger became basically a black triangle, then his hand, then his legs and body. I think he tried to stop them and couldn’t. They left him alone when his whole body was black triangles except for his head, and he had one balloon left. He had an exaggerated happy/relieved expression when he saw said balloon, and hugged it a lot. The screen cut to black and a balloon popping sound played, and then the credits rolled over I think piano music but I’m not sure. Does anyone know what this is called? I’ve tried keywords like “animated short balloon creepy” and nothing came up. Also please tell me if I already posted this YKTSW—I cant figure out how to search my own profile on mobile
Old Children's Cartoon featuring a Train and a Dragon [SOLVED] Western Animation
Hey I'm trying to figure out the name of a really old cartoon I used to watch as a kid. It was really whimsical in tone and I remember liking it a lot, but it's been so long most of my my memories come from disjointed scenes that I was unable to find online, so I decided to try here using a summary of the show...from admittedly an unreliable narrator.
So the story starts with the MC who lives on a super cramped island in the middle of the sea, which was inhabited by like 5 people. It's so cramped the train Conductor is mostly there for entertainment, as his rail line just loops up and around the town square. The MC comes of age, which would have technically given him his own place to stay, but there was quite literally no room left.
Much angst ensures as the kid was feeling a little suffocated by the small island as is. The Conductor, feeling bad for the kid, thinks on what to gift him for his birthday and decides to...and I'm not joking here...jury rig his steam locomotive to be sea worthy and take the MC on a trip to explore the world and figure himself out.
Ok, now onto the main villain of the show. She's a really old and really cranky dragon, who could feel she was dying and was not having it. She was trying to cure herself of this "disease" to no avail, and eventually stumbles over a children's book that tells her "Laughter is the best medicine". Proceeds to kidnap kids to teach her how to laugh to cure herself of death.
Dragon fails to kidnap the MC but he decides to chase after the Dragon in order to free the other kids (including but not limited to a girl he got smitten with on his early travels).
Art style wise the show had some pretty simple designs (think the Flintstones cartoon in terms of proportions). If memory serves MC was dark skinned with a red shirt and had short curly black hair. Conductor was round with thick arms, wearing an old style conductor outfit.
Thank you in advanced for any help provided.
Edited by VictorTheIICartoon about Area 51 (SOLVED) Western Animation
It's an American probably western animation series produced sometime between 2000 and 2010 (sorry, no idea the actual date, just when I recall watching it). The protagonist is a... partially successful bounty hunter who got several tips on the job from his late father, yet many of them don't work. Until he tried one of them on a werewolf. The female lead and main love interest is a Banshee who escaped from Stonehenge because she would become a sacrifice, and is now trying to adjust to modern life. The two are recruited by scientists/military in Area 51. I also specifically recall that Banshees have a thing with music (triggers their abilities, I think) and something with a DNA-tracking giant spider robot.
Ring any bells?
Edited by LermisA Christmas Carol with gift-box ghost Western Animation
Long story short: today I just touched an old memory of watching Yet Another Christmas Carol - almost certainly on Cartoon Network - with the Ghost of Christmas Present as a literal gift-box with arms. I recall him having an extremely obnoxious laugh, and quite possibly an entire Pungeon Master personality.
Given this was on Cartoon Network, this was probably something produced by Hanna-Barbara or MGM, but a quick search doesn't turn up anything. Can anyone help?
Early/mid 2000s Canadian show Western Animation
There was a show my brother and I watched as a child we have vague memories of that we’ve tried to find. It was (at least in parts I remember) animated and Canadian (may have been a Nelvana or Teletoon show). One of the few things I remember is that it took place in a movie theater and a talking Canada Goose was one of the main characters (he may have worn a red beret??). I remember watching it in the mornings at around the same timeslot as Dragon Booster (which aired from 2004-2006), although it may not have been on the same channel. The show likely aired around or before those years since I would remember more details of it was later. I can’t remember if it was an anthology series or not. I think in one storyline the goose directed an independent black and white art house film with a closeup shot of a tear rolling down his face, it might have been about his life. Any help is appreciated It may have been on CBC and there was also a sketch with a haunted scarecrow on a farm!
Edited by ecrutweakerEastern-European cartoon about a sucicidal man. Western Animation
In the tropes Bungled Suicide and Happily Failed Suicide, there's a mention on the Western Animation folders that there's an 80's Eastern-European short about "a despondent man trying to kill himself, but when he's faced by robbers, he gives away all of his posession, clothes included, and ends up happy and appreciating life after being spared". I can't find anything about this short on the web, and a twitter account stated that this short is probably non-existant. Anybody knows what the short is called?
Two French cartoons Western Animation
There are two french cartoons I don't know the names of: one is am anthropomorphic lion who wears a red cape and has a tiny chihuahua as his best friend; the other is a white cat with a Smug Smile who loves to play pranks on others. My only knowledge from those shows was from a user called "Sibada The Toon Lord". Have any of you seen these shows before and do you know what they're called?
Edited by ToonAbby3D children's show about a boy with the plan Western Animation
Each episode was themed around this grade-school or middle-school boy crafting a plan to circumvent a problem or reach a goal. The setting is Like Reality, Unless Noted, and his two friends are The Smart Guy and The Girl.
One problem he tries to solve is his mom cooking a gross lasagna dinner with broccoli. The methods he tries are changing the ingredients of the recipe sheet, and offering to cook dinner himself so that mom doesn't have to.
Another problem is that he fakes sickness to get out of school and stay home, but he winds up bored out of his mind, and so he has to sneak out of the house without being noticed. The episode ends with his mom telling him he's gonna stay at home and rest tomorrow, too, resulting in a Big "NO!" from him.
A third one that I can remember is his little sister making an immense racket around the living room with her new brass instrument. One of his methods is him pretending to have gone deaf from the noise.
That's about all I can remember off the top of my head. Anyone else remember this?
An 3d animated show about an alien family Western Animation

desert island, angry indigenous kid, and some kind of creature Western Animation
i was writing stuff and got reminded of this show i watched as a kid!
it was a short-form cartoon about a kid who lived with some kind of creature on a desert island. the kid might've looked like one of 'em Hollywood Natives and had dark skin and curly hair that went spiky whenever they got mad, while i don’t remember anything about the creature other than how the kid got mad at them often. characters were Speaking Simlish. i distinctly remember the kid yelling something that sounded like "hey! chobulay babulay!" at the creature in one episode bc it was a sort of inside joke among my family.
despite the similar theme of fantasy indigenous tribes, it isn't Qumi-Qumi
