Edited by Professional_NoobOdd memory of an movie ad on the radio. Film
This is probably gonna be a hard one but when I was a little kid (this would be about late 80s/early 90s) I was in the car with my dad and this scary ad for a movie came on. All I remember for sure is hearing some woman screaming something like "We have to escape"! At the time I asked my dad why she was screaming like that and he said something like "This bad guy showed up at her house and had some kind of monster with him". Seeing as I was a little kid he might have been lying to me for some reason (e.g. maybe the bad guy was really a Serial Rapist or something and he didn't want to tell me about that sort of thing), but whatever it is, I'm still curious. I know this is really vague, but maybe someone can figure it out.
Lollipop knife Film
The main character is pursued by 4 assassins. One of them is introduced as often dressing as a teenager to lure her target. There is a scene where she is on the bed of a man and use her lollipop to stab him. Another scene has the main character trying to steal data from a computer when a security guard or policewoman finds him. To distracter her, he have intercourse with her near the data center.
Christopher Film
I recall the name being Christopher, but I looked it up and nothing came up. It’s an animated movie about a kangaroo that gets kidnapped by an eagle, dropped into a supermarket, gets raised by two mammals of some kind, and then has a bittersweet ending where he reunites with his family when he’s an adult.
Anti-Modern Anthology on Netflix Film
I saw this before I even knew Black Mirror existed, maybe 2008-2012? I believe it was on Netflix. It has a similar but different tone to Black Mirror. Instead of "spooky technology" the show seems to be critical of Capitalism, or at least modern work/life balance, society, and consumerism. I will attempt to recall two episodes that are fuzzy in my memory.
1st episode I remember is more vague. There is someone working on a floor, lets say floor 43 for the sake of it. Floors look upon the higher floors with respect, while demoting to a lower floor is seen as a disgrace and causes some individuals to commit suicide. The whole episode seems to have a narrative that develops around an intercom announcing promotions/demotions/and general announcements, as well as people from various floors coming to speak to the main character. I don't think the show ever explains what these people actually do for an occupation, other than trying to advance to the next floor and avoid being demoted.
The other episode is more clear in my mind. It revolves around a husband and wife who live in the suburbs in a very large house. The husband and wife live a very mundane consumer-culture lifestyle. The wife watches a show which advertises products that she always must buy and participate in. The show is a sort of read-along of a book which is supposed to be a recipe for happiness. The husband seems discontent with this lifestyle. After awhile, a family member/acquaintance of some sort needs to stay at their place, and this family member is a free spirit. He gradually, day by day, transforms their yard into a carnival of sorts. At the beginning of the episode, the family member is just playing basketball, or using a trampoline. But I seem to remember as it goes on and on he gets more and more things/people and it's like a carnival of entertainment. The husband seems to tolerate it only because he is envious of that lifestyle.
Eventually there is a breakdown in the episode where the wife's show about the book of happiness ends and the host of the show thinks the book ending is terrible, because the final message is anti-consumerist. The host begins screaming and crying with rage and discontent and so the wife follows along and is the same way. This causes the husband to break and he eventually leaves this life behind and tries to be more free-spirited.
I really hope I have provided enough detail as I'd love to watch it again since I have been getting into various anthologies such as Electric Dreams, Inside No. 9, and others.
Something about an age-changing carousel Film
I really only remember the end parts, because I don't think I caught the whole thing. I do remember distinctly that there's a magical carousel or roundabout or what-have-you that causes people to get younger or older when they ride on it.
I think the main group of protagonists were looking for some people, and when they found them they had turned back into kids. One of the protagonist kids (I can't remember if they were all kids or a mixture, but there was a kid) got on, went around, came back off as an adult, and was enthralled by the fact he had stubble now. Then there was a maybe-side character who got on and turned into a kid, I think in the post-credits he got put through the foster system or something? He continued to smoke and/or drink as a kid, it shocked them.
If it helps, the first kid I mentioned was white, and the second guy I think was black.
It's been in my memory for a long while, and I've tried several times to figure it out before. Maybe this will work
Edited by TrueEnderAn animated movie regarding a kid with a marble [SOLVED] Film
I recall the movie taking place in a house/orphanage with multiple bunk beds, All the kids were wearing green shirts, I recall a scene where the protagonist was playing catch with several other kids and the ball rolled into the basement, the protagonist kept a marble that was cyan or white, I recall this one who was ginger or had brown hair stole his marble. The protagonist noticed someone took his marble and yelled who took it. It was 2D and I never finished it
Edited by ZvlphvrMovie Scene Where Guy in Suit Plays with Kids Film
I'm not thinking of John Travolta in Look Who's Talking Too with "All Shook Up"—though maybe I am. I'm actually thinking of another scene at a kids play place in a movie where the man plays with the kids while I think the song in the background is "Chantilly Lace". Maybe it was something I just imagined I saw all these years and was never actually real though, so there you go. Haha.
"Story of my life... the end" in mysterious girl's journal Film
I remember seeing a scene from whatever this was, it looked low-budget, on US TV about 10-15 years ago. A young adult guy finds a young adult woman passed out on the sidewalk. He is giving normal-guy vibes, she is giving manic pixie dream-girl vibes. He carries her into a house and lays her on the bed, and I remember he takes her boots off. She's asleep. He looks through her bag or something, and finds her journal. He opens it to the first page spread and it's cutely decorated with big lettering saying "The Story of My Life." He turns the page, and it's blank. The next page is also blank. He then flips quickly through the journal, all blank pages to the end, where again it has cutesy lettering and decoration, saying "The End." There was no dialog. I am of the impression it was on PBS and was some kind of indie short film but I'm not sure. I don't think that scene was the entirety of the piece, I think it was the beginning, but that was the only part of it I saw.
black-and-white action? film Film
a black and white film about a British military base in Africa where the native soldiers rebel/go on strike, and the main characters (an officer and a soldier recently transferred) have to stop it. the revolt is eventually stopped bloodlessly when the main characters blow up a jeep.
Sci-fi? movie that has mysterious guy who is EvilAllAlong. Film
So there's a movie that is probably a sci-fi thriller or horror and maybe some action where it set in post apocalyptic future (I guess) the main characters found a seemingly amnesiac man in an abandoned place. And the one of the main characters who is a woman fall in love with him and there was a sex scene between the mysterious man and the female character. And it turns out that the mysterious guy is a Big Bad and was using them or something like that and he got killed by the heroes in the end I think.
The movie is in around the early 2010s (2010-2015) or late 2000's (2005-2009) from what I remember and it's R rated. And it's American.
Edited by BubblepigA little boy, meets a junkie, dies in a peer fight, candlelight vigil Film
An English-language movie I watched somewhere in 2013 or 2014.
It's about a 10, 11 or 12 year old boy (probably with long blond hair)
All I remember is that he meets a poor man addicted to drugs. There's a scene where the boy knocks on his door and the man doesn't answer - maybe he's so high or he died of an overdose.
The boy is attacked (perhaps outside the school) by his peers and dies.
At the boy's house (where his distraught parents are) gather people with candles in the evening, perhaps singing something.
Girls controlling the weather Film
I think it is a Disney Channel movie, but I'm not sure.
I remember a Christmas movie about two girls that find Santa Claus' weather machine (don't ask), and decided to make it snow in their city, so I assume it was set in California for it to be special.
Fight in a salt mine at the end. Film
The final fight takes place in a salt mine, and circumstances contrive for the villain to die when he gets hanged on a rope.
Edited by CaswinSex Comedy About Guy Who Can't Feel Pain Film
I remember seeing a trailer (or maybe a part of the movie) about a young man who gets cursed somehow, so that he can't feel pain. I'm not sure if he loses other feelings like lust, or the ability to get drunk, as well.
The movie's a college sex comedy trying to capitalize on American Pie and similar films. The main character's a bit of a skinny dork a la Jason Biggs, but he has scruffier, blond hair. Getting the curse both helps him become more popular in college (the one scene I remember has him being hazed pledging for a fraternity, getting paddled and no feeling anything), but ends up getting him into trouble.
I don't remember much more about it, and I'm sure the movie isn't even any good, but I still wanted to try and find it to scratch that itch in my brain.
2000s adult movie Film
There's this movie I'm trying to find. The main character is a sex addict and he has a little sister who works as a sex worker. It was an American movie and I think it came out in the 2000s. I remember there's a scene where the sister calls the man while crying and it was one of the most emotional scenes of the movie, though I could be wrong.
Trying to find a children’s period drama Film
It was a children’s TV drama on Channel 4, possibly a one off although it may have been a serial based on the “Prince and the Pauper”. The two central characters were teenage girls, one was wealthy and the other was poor. It was set in the past, probably 19th century as evident by the period costumes. The poor girl was reduced to stealing in order to live and the rich girl befriended her. I remember a scene where the rich girl, whilst out riding her horse, is taken captive by some criminal con men out in the woods. They tie her up only for the poor girl to come to her rescue. The poor girl is taken captive too but in the end they escape... and that’s about all I can remember!

Movie Where Man gets sent to life in prison for attacking his Wife's murderer Film
I saw this video on Facebook of a movie where a man gets life in prison for attacking the man that killed his wife, Grey.
All I know is that the guy who killed the wife is named Kovic...I don't know the title though.
