In a few James Bond movies he knows that the room is bugged, but somehow he knows exactly what to do to jam or block the signal. He never panics.

According to the index at Espionage Tropes, there are two ways that a room can be searched, both covered by Ransacked Room: the sneaky way (associated with planting or finding bugs), and the rushed way (typical mess with overturned furniture and scattered items). A trained spy is more likely to be slower and more methodical in their search. A mundane person just finding out they're in danger would be faster and more panicked.

Paranoia Gambit if the point is at least partly to get them to destroy their own room trying to find the thing.
