Theme: Multiple paths and other incrementals. Utilized fantastically, with the former being really explored plus the latter being crafted into a story that intrigues the player and never lets go.
Gameplay and core mechanics: At first, you only gain points and spend them on buyable for more points. However, you soon get to reset for prestige points to spend on upgrades and boosting production. Once they're big enough, you can choose the Standard Path that grants more prestige points and lowers points, with upgrades that focus more on increasing prestige points while lowering points. With enough score, you can perform a Meta-Prestige for incremental power to spend on new upgrades and boost yourself further. You'll also have to restore the 28 layers of the original Prestige Tree (Rewritten, not Classic) that come with their own mechanics and boosts. You'll also unlock the Enhance Path that comes with different upgrades and Crafting to make new items, all of which have a purpose for the main game.
Balancing and difficulty: Above-average difficulty and slightly slow. The game relies on frequent switches between paths. There are times where you may need to wait, but you may also get stuff from other places to give yourself an edge. You almost always have the option to idle and gain resources passively. Some challenges may require a lot of grinding to ensure you're strong enough and some outside-the-box thinking to figure out an optimal solution. The game does not have unnecessary inflation unlike its predecessors, with number increases feeling fully earned. There's one boss fight that plays similarly to bullet hell games with mouse control, but it's not particularly difficult (maybe slightly unpredictable) and there are ways to tip the odds in your favor.
Content on offer: Slightly long, you can reach the endgame in half a week (depends on how much you idle or play actively). Three layers that are all large with many upgrades and mechanics, with Incremental also having two full-fledged paths.
Polish and miscellaneous additions: Over 40 cutscenes as well as many tooltips and buyables to build the lore. Sadly no way to rewatch the cutscenes, but I've made a transcript and should build a Recap/ page on that. There's a full 15-track soundtrack you can listen to and a lot of this music really hits the spot. The items you craft have pixel art that's imaginative and charming. Small particle animations here and there that build the path and situations' atmosphere more. There may be some typos and bugs, but I'm trying my best to catch them as a tester.
Ultimately, I think this game is a great showing of the developer's increasing experience in the field of idle-game creation. I really hope it can reach its full potential, because it might be the first S-rank game made in TMT someday.
